3DWK
US on-demand manufacturing · Engineer-reviewed
CNC, sheet metal, 3D printing, molding, and more — coordinated by 3DWK with NDA-ready file handling. No fake lead times or invented certifications — just a clear path from file to quote.
How it works
Simple for buyers — the same workflow our team uses every day. No account required to start.
STEP preferred for CNC; STL/3MF welcome for print. Add material, finish, quantity, and notes.
An automated manufacturability checklist flags process fit and common risks — not a formal engineering sign-off.
Our engineers follow up with pricing and lead times in USD, typically within 24 hours. Quotes stay valid 30 days once issued.
Manufacturing Solutions
Each business line has its own manufacturing scope and quote route, while engineering review and project communication stay connected.

Fast parts and design iteration through 3D printing, CNC machining, micro machining, and bridge processes.
Request Prototype Quote
Multi-process sourcing, molding, die casting, assembly, finishing, production planning, and repeat orders.
Request Production Quote
Laser and waterjet cutting, bending, tube fabrication, welding, hardware installation, and finished assemblies.

Deep service pages stay available — these are the fastest paths into an RFQ.
What moves price
We do not publish guaranteed dollar prices on process cards. These factors (from our FAQ and standards) are what engineering reviews when preparing your quote.
Prototype vs production volume changes which process is economical. Include both sample qty and expected volume so we can recommend a path.
FAQ · Is pricing instant? · How It WorksTight tolerances and dense GD&T drive more machining time and inspection. Call out only the dimensions that matter; defaults such as ISO 2768-m apply where the drawing is silent.
Manufacturing Standards · Your drawingMaterial grade, availability, and finishes (anodize, plate, powder coat, etc.) change lead time and cost. Name them in the RFQ to avoid requotes.
FAQ · Materials · FinishesSTEP/STP for CNC and sheet metal, plus a PDF drawing for threads and finishes, reduces clarification loops. Mesh-only files are weaker for subtractive work.
FAQ · Which file formats do you accept?Inspection reports or material certificates are available on request — include the requirement so it is part of the quote.

Value-Added Services
Build a complete project scope around the part, including technical review, finishing, assembly, quality records, and repeat-order continuity.
Identify process risks, tolerance conflicts, tool access issues, and cost drivers before production.
Coordinate coatings, marking, hardware, welding, assembly, inspection, and packaging.
Define inspection reports, material records, key dimensions, and revision requirements in the RFQ.
Reference prior RFQs, approved revisions, supplier preferences, and updated quantities.
Why Choose 3DWK
Requirements are reviewed before production routing, with room for drawings, CAD, notes, and quality expectations.
Business line, process, revision, material, finish, and contact details stay attached to the RFQ.
A capability-based partner network supports prototypes, specialized processes, fabrication, and production programs.
Process selection and early DFM feedback help reduce avoidable tooling, setup, material, and rework costs.
Customer Feedback
The examples below describe the kind of experience the 3DWK workflow is designed to support. They are illustrative, not attributed customer endorsements.
“The structured RFQ makes it easier to put the model, drawing, material, finish, and inspection notes in one place.”
Illustrative feedback · Product engineering
“Separating prototype work from repeat production gives procurement a clearer path when quantities and documentation change.”
Illustrative feedback · Supply chain
“A single review point for machining, fabrication, finishing, and assembly reduces the back-and-forth on multi-process parts.”
Illustrative feedback · Operations
Manufacturing Partner Network
3DWK connects project requirements with manufacturing partners by process, material, equipment, quality needs, and delivery fit. Network coverage reflects supplier capability and does not imply a 3DWK office in every region.
